Gator Leisure Bike Ride at Riverbend Park

Meet at 10 AM at Riverbend Park on Thursday, January 7, 2027 at the first parking lot as you enter near the restrooms.  Riverbend is west of I-95 and Turnpike on Indiantown Rd.  (Look for the brown sign.)  Meet in the first parking lot.  Restrooms and drinking fountain there.  The path is packed shell rock, so regular bike tires should be okay.  Racing tires would be a problem.  Ride about 10 miles at 6-8 mph.  Due to a lot of people using the park trails we will minimize trail time/distance in the park and ride through but then out around on trails with less traffic.  

Guest leader Tim Kuhn will take us on an approximately 12 mile bike ride @ 8-10 mph.  We will meet at Riverbend Park, 9060 West Indiantown Road. Riverbend is west of I-95 and the Turnpike on Indiantown Rd. Meet 10 AM in the first parking lot when you enter by the office and bathrooms.  We will ride out of the park to ride the old route towards Indiantown.  The path is dirt and packed shell rock, so regular bike tires should be Ok.  Racing tires would be a problem.

You may wish to bring an optional picnic lunch to leave in your car and eat afterward in Riverbend Park.

We will also discuss having a future kayaking/canoeing events at Riverbend Park. This is a fun drama free event.
