Baqueria-Beret is the largest and most prestigious ski resort in Spain, located in the Pyrenees and known for its expansive skiable terrain, reliable snow, and off-piste opportunities. The resort features a diverse network of four interconnected areas (Baqueria, Beret, Bonaigua, and Baciver), offering over 150 km of pistes for all skill levels, from beginner slopes to challenging black runs and extensive off-piste routes. It is a popular destination for the Spanish royal family, offering high-quality facilities, a modern lift system, and a range of amenities.

We will be spending 3 nights in Barcelona as a side trip during Carnival. This should be a fun way to end our time in Spain! Sabina Cowie is your trip leader and excited to have you join!

Barcelona Carnival is celebrated annually, with preliminary dates for the 2026 event set for February 12-18, 2026. The full official program will be published closer to the date. The celebrations occur across the city, but the epicenter is in the El Born district. The week-long festivities include parades, parties, traditional performances, and elaborate costumes.
