1. Amendment to Allow Members to Join Three Months Before the Start of the Fiscal Year and to Remove the Discount for Members to Join Three Months before the Start of the Next Fiscal Year
This amendment will allow members to join three months before the fiscal year starts. It ends the discount for joining three months before the fiscal year ends. This will make it easier for the Membership Director to manage the membership database, and it will streamline the membership process on the website.
2. Amendment to Allow Members to Vote by Absentee Ballot on Bylaw Amendments
This amendment will allow members to vote by absentee ballot for bylaw amendments. It is extremely difficult to get enough members to come in person to have a quorum for voting on bylaw amendments.
3. Amendment to Remove the Six Consecutive Year Prohibition for Members to Serve on the Board
This amendment will remove the prohibition of term limits for Board Members serving on the Board for a maximum of six consecutive years. This does not affect the two consecutive year restriction to serve in a single position. There is a scarcity of volunteers willing to serve on the Board, and this amendment will enable members to serve longer.
4 Amendment to Remove the Restriction against Two Members of the Same Family to Serve on the Board Simultaneously
This amendment will modify the prohibition of members of the same family to serve on the Board simultaneously. This will allow no more two members with the same family membership to serve on the Board simultaneously. There is a scarcity of volunteers willing to serve on the Board, and this amendment will enable more members to step forward.
